Penn Energy recently conducted a 6 question survey of 199 oil and gas workers in Scotland. The purpose of the poll was to gather their predictions for the impact that Scottish independence may have on oil and gas jobs and investment in the region.
On September 18th of next year, a referendum will be held to determine whether or not Scotland will be made independent. The forecast provided by the survey which we link to below is one of mixed optimism, with 54% looking forward to an increase in job opportunities, but only 27% forecasting increased oil and gas investment.
