Another busy week at our support desk, welcoming newcomers to Tallys, helping late yearbook PDFs onto the presses, and keeping the Tallys community running smoothly.
Here is a summary of what’s been happening at Tallys.ca.
With over 200 active drilling rigs and high production output, the Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas boom in south Texas is now ranked as the largest oil and gas development in the world. It is predicted that within the next decade, more than 82,000 jobs will be occupied in support of the Eagle Ford Shale. These jobs will be spread out over 14 different countries.
The team at T- 1 began building their Tallys OCTG inventory database this week and are about to learn just how much easier pipe yard management becomes when you have all of the right tools at hand.
In 2011 Craig flew down to Williston to attend the wedding of a college friend. When he returned from the trip, he filled us in on the buzz around their enormous oil reserves, and the massive wealth that went along with their discovery and output. It seemed that many people he spoke with were genuinely excited about opportunities to be had. We link to 30 awesome photos of North Dakota’s surging oil and gas production.
The Tallys Equipment Module makes it easy to track adapter joints, swages and/or subs. The system automatically populates descriptions for new entries as you select definitions for each tool joint (Pin or Box) from drop down menus. It is possible for both ends of these accessory types to be ‘Pin’ (male connection) ends or for both to be ‘Box’ (female connection) ends.
