Rack history including transactions onto and off of a given rack or racks sharing identical pipe definitions are found in Stock Cards. A stock card shows In and Out tallies to and from a given rack in reverse chronological order (newest tally at the top).

Tallys can manage your inventory of pipe accessories and float equipment:

We call a movement of float equipment or any pipe accessory a shipment, (a Tally is always a pipe movement). With our equipment module, it is possible to build kits of accessories which are commonly sent out together. This can make completion of a shipment quicker, but it is also possible to build a shipment one part and quantity at a time, selecting from the customer in selection’s available stock. All parts included in the completed shipment can be printed on an easily read report.

Tallys can generate Rack and equipment reports of real time pipe and equipment balances. These reports are based on selections of Customer, Product definition or description, date range. It is also possible to sort racks and equipment by quantity or length or description, subset a selection or range, then report on or export the resulting list.

Complete an outbound Tally in seconds, without entering any joint lengths:

By default Tallys will remove joint from a rack in the FI-LO (First in, Last off) logic. This means that on an outbound tally, the user can enter a requested joint count or total length, and the system will indicate how many of the upper most joints need to be removed, or what the total length of the entered joint count would work out to. It is also possible to break the FI-LO rule, and remove any combination of joints from a rack by means of a MISC tally out. In this case, the rack is re-tiered to eliminate any empty positions which may result. An outbound Tally can also be printed with a Load Slip to help in identifying outages, and to make the job clear to a loader operator or yard hand.

Rack naming flexibility:

Racks can be named according to a storage facility’s existing alpha-numeric naming convention.

Equipment and accessory naming flexibility:

Equipment descriptions are loose entry in Tallys. This means that for each customer, you can enter any part or accessory, describe it the way your customer prefers, and complete in and outbound shipments to adjust inventory levels.

Exports and Integration:

Tallys is capable of exporting almost any subset of data to a tab delimited text file which can be read and manipulated with Excel, then imported into most 3rd party ERP or accounting systems. Our development team is also skilled at creating custom exports if requested.

Online access to transactions and real time balances:

With the Tallys Web Module, we can publish your database to the web and provide your customers with logins which would deliver read only and reporting access to real time inventory levels.

Billing:

Posted In and outbound pipe Tallies as well as shipments of equipment can be added to an Invoice, for which user defined default rates are applied, including premiums for after hours loads. It is also possible to add tallies and or shipments to a dispatch with release LSD, and direction details, then add a Bill of lading to the dispatch with totals and rates for trucks, trailers, Swamper, etc.

Track pipe condition:

When building a rack in tallies, ‘Condition’ is among the available drop downs for describing the tubular inventory that will sit on that rack. The conditions available within the drop down are determined by the user.

User Groups, restrictions and concurrent access:

We have variable access levels which can be assigned to your group of Tallys users, including read only access, and limitations for reversing transactions. Also, to avoid redundant data manipulation, we have alerts in place to advise a user when someone else on their team is viewing or adjusting a given record.
