Our 2nd quarterly update of 2014 is ready, and its roll-out began this week. Development completed in this release was mainly request driven, and is therefore straight from the minds of OCTG tracking partners in the field.
Whats New in Q2?
We have added an alternate Dispatch Summary which includes Handling Fee and Location or LSD.
We have made a Driver Summary report available from the BOL list screen. This report serves as a method of reviewing a specific driver’s trips within a set date range. The report includes Dispatch #, BOL No., Move Date, Location, Handling Fee, and Owner.
It will now be possible to unfill the ‘Invoice’ radio button, or change the billable party on a posted tally.
With input gathered from C & Y Transportation in Casper WY, we are introducing two new reports to better serve the US OCTG supply industry.
-The first of these is a Dispatch report which includes Handling Fee in the header, Total Length in the description and Total Weight in lbs below item description(s).
-The second report is a BOL report, and includes BOL specific ‘For Date’ and ‘For Time’, Rig Number and Estimated Freight Charges, which is a requirement for oilfield delivery in the US.
The ‘Revenue by Truck’ report, available from the BOL list screen, will now include columns for Owner name and Invoice #.
It will now be possible to begin the release entry process from the Main Menu, rather than having to open the release list screen first.
In the interest of saving time, whenever a new release is to share details with an existing one, release duplication will be possible.
Note: a new release number must always be assigned.
Previously LSD info was added via dispatch and release entry. This can now be done from the main menu.
A list of existing LSDs and their directions is now available from the Main Menu.
Note: Locations can be deleted if they are no longer needed.
Selecting ‘Export Dispatch Summary’ from the ‘Reports’ menu in the Dispatch List screen will produce a tab delimited text file export including columns to match the Dispatch Summary report.
Note: All Tallys exports are best viewed and edited with Excel.
A Release # column has been added to the web published tally list screen
