ProEarth Products, a distributor of downhole drilling fluids, has some new lubrication additive technology to show off. They will be providing demonstrations with the help of a Cross Axis Friction Machine at the TRAC Energy expo in Billings, Montana, early next month.

In the Bakken, ProOne Downhole Drilling Fluid Additives have been used in recent years in lateral bore scenarios, for drill string protection and increased efficiency leading to cost savings. ProEarth’s new DHDF additive is 50 times the ‘film strength’ of currently available lubricants, is a corrosion inhibitor, and best of all the product is non-toxic and biodegradable.
